Community Sales Manager

Create & Cultivate is seeking an experienced and results-driven Community Sales Manager to lead attendee sales for our events, including festivals, large conferences, high-ticket retreats, and masterminds. This role focuses on driving ticket sales, developing relationships with potential attendees, and ensuring that the right individuals and businesses are represented at our events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, experience with high-ticket products, and the ability to execute effective outreach and sales strategies.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for connecting with ambitious individuals and businesses who align with Create & Cultivate’s mission to empower women in business.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Drive $3M in sales revenue annually through ticket sales for festivals, conferences, retreats, and masterminds.

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, including pre-sales materials, email campaigns, and closing tactics to maximize conversions.

  • CRM Management: Leverage HubSpot CRM and monday.com to track sales pipelines, analyze data, and manage all stages of the sales process effectively.

Outreach & Relationship Building:

  • Prospect Identification: Conduct targeted outreach to identify and engage the right attendees for each event, focusing on individuals and businesses that align with the event’s goals.

  • Corporate Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with corporations and businesses to encourage group ticket sales and employee attendance at Create & Cultivate events.

  • Direct Outreach: Personally connect with prospective attendees through personalized outreach, email campaigns, and follow-ups to drive ticket sales and build relationships.

High-Ticket Sales Focus:

  • Tailored Sales Approach: Understand the unique value propositions of high-ticket offerings (retreats, masterminds) and communicate them effectively to potential attendees.

  • Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to understand attendee needs and position Create & Cultivate’s events as the ideal solution for professional growth and networking opportunities.

Performance Analysis & Optimization:

  • Data-Driven Sales: Track sales performance, analyze key metrics, and optimize strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress tracking across all sales opportunities.

  • Event-Specific Campaigns: Develop tailored sales campaigns for individual events, ensuring each strategy aligns with the unique audience and goals of the event.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in events, high-ticket products, or community-focused roles.

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales revenue targets, particularly with high-ticket items.

  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and monday.com for sales tracking and pipeline management.

  • Sales Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for consultative selling and relationship building.

Email Marketing Manager

Create & Cultivate is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Email Marketing Manager who thrives at the intersection of creative storytelling and technical expertise. This role is perfect for a copywriter with experience in crafting compelling, on-brand copy and a deep understanding of email marketing strategies, segmentation, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention while upholding the voice and vision of Create & Cultivate.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize a comprehensive email marketing strategy to support the company’s goals across events and digital media.

  • Own the end-to-end email marketing process, including campaign planning, setup, execution, and performance analysis.

  • Create and manage segmented email campaigns tailored to specific audience personas to ensure the highest engagement and conversion rates.

  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, layouts, and CTAs to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.

  • Monitor email deliverability and maintain a healthy subscriber list by implementing best practices in list hygiene and spam compliance.

  • Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends, tools, and technologies to keep campaigns innovative and effective.

Copywriting & Content Creation:

  • Write engaging, on-brand copy for all email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, drip campaigns, and event follow-ups.

  • Develop content that maintains Create & Cultivate’s signature tone and voice, tailored to resonate with a diverse audience of ambitious women in business.

  • Craft compelling headlines, subject lines, and preview text designed to capture attention and drive engagement.

  • Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief and Marketing Director to align email content with broader brand and editorial strategies.

  • Edit and proofread all copy to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand standards.

Audience Segmentation & Personalization:

  • Leverage audience data to build targeted email campaigns based on behavior, demographics, and engagement history.

  • Develop automated workflows, including welcome sequences, re-engagement campaigns, and event-specific follow-ups.

  • Personalize email content using dynamic elements to create a more tailored and impactful customer experience.

  • Regularly analyze audience segmentation performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and report on key email marketing metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates.

  • Generate regular performance reports to share insights and recommendations with the broader marketing team.

  • Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, ensuring continuous optimization of email campaigns.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure email performance insights inform broader marketing strategies.

Campaign Design & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually compelling email templates that align with Create & Cultivate’s branding.

  • Ensure email templates are responsive, mobile-friendly, and visually appealing across all devices.

  • Work with internal teams to align email marketing efforts with broader marketing initiatives, such as events, launches, and membership growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with the content, social media, and events teams to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

  • Support seasonal and campaign-based video and photoshoots, providing input on how visual assets will integrate into email campaigns.

  • Work with designers to produce creative assets, including graphics, illustrations, and GIFs, for email campaigns.

SEO & Content Optimization:

  • Incorporate SEO best practices into email copy to support broader content visibility goals.

  • Utilize tools and strategies to enhance content performance and audience reach.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of email marketing experience, preferably within events, media, or consumer-facing brands.

  • Copywriting Expertise: Proven track record of writing clear, engaging, and impactful email copy across short-form and long-form formats.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Flodesk, Mailchimp, Kajabi, Hubspot, Brevo) and understanding of automation workflows, segmentation, and dynamic content.

  • Analytics Tools: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and email performance dashboards to track, measure, and optimize campaigns.

  • Design Proficiency: Experience working with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with basic HTML for email templates.

  • Organization: Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
