One thing we’ve learned from all of the interviews at C&C HQ is that raising money is just one of the many ways to start a business. And for many of you, it might not be the best path.

In fact, it’s okay to start small and remain small, especially if your business model is focused on one-of-a-kind, handmade goods.

In this conversation, our panelists spoke about their creative ventures and really honed in on how to thrive as a small business in a consumerist world.

Panelists:

Lacie RZ Porta | Founder, Framed Florals

Natalie Borton | Founder, Natalie Borton Jewelry

Virginia Sin | Founder, SIN

Amanda Lee | Director of Brand Strategy & Sourcing, Nest

Moderator:

Sacha Strebe | Editorial Director, Create & Cultivate
