Inspired Inclusivity: Creating Cultures And Companies Where Everyone Belongs
To put it simply, inclusivity matters. New research makes it abundantly clear that companies with more diverse workforces are more profitable.
In fact, companies in the top 25% for gender diversity at the executive level are more likely to have above-average profitability than companies in the bottom 25%. And companies in the top 25% for ethnic and racial diversity are 33% more likely to outperform the competition.
And conscientious consumers are partially to thank. According to new research, nearly two-thirds of consumers are “belief-driven buyers” and will either put their money behind or boycott a brand based on its stand on societal issues—which is something we can certainly get behind.
