Senior Sales Manager – Sponsorship Sales

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager – Sponsorship Sales who is an unrelenting closer, an industry connector, and a creative dealmaker with a proven track record of managing and closing high-value PAID sponsorships across industries. This role will be critical to driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth across Create & Cultivate’s portfolio of IRL events, digital platforms, and special initiatives.

You must have 4+ years of paid sponsorship experience, established relationships across multiple industries, and a relentless hunger to not just meet but exceed aggressive sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Own and exceed a $4M+ annual paid sponsorship revenue target, driving consistent year-over-year growth.

  • Proactively build, manage, and close a robust sponsorship pipeline across IRL events (Festivals, Summits, Retreats, Masterminds) and digital platforms (newsletters, podcasts, content series).

  • Develop and customize creative, solutions-driven sponsorship proposals that meet client goals and align with Create & Cultivate’s mission.

  • Manage the full sales cycle – prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and contract management.

  • Collaborate with leadership to set quarterly targets, track KPIs, and optimize sales performance.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Leverage existing industry relationships and build new connections to open doors and close six- and seven-figure sponsorships.

  • Act as the primary client point of contact during the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless handoff to the account management team post-sale.

  • Regularly check-in with clients for feedback, renewals, upsells, and to foster long-term, multi-year partnerships.

  • Maintain high client satisfaction through attentive communication, strategic consultation, and flawless follow-up.

Strategic Business Development:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities by monitoring market trends and creatively positioning Create & Cultivate’s offerings.

  • Lead vertical-specific targeting strategies (e.g., CPG, Tech, Finance, Retail, Sports, Entertainment, Beauty) to maximize market penetration.

  • Support on select in-kind sponsorships and high-visibility strategic partnerships when needed.

Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination:

  • Work closely with marketing, events, content, and leadership teams to:

    • Develop sales collateral, pitch decks, and proposals.

    • Align sponsorship offerings with event programming, marketing strategies, and experiential activations.

    • Share client insights to continuously refine Create & Cultivate’s sponsorship strategy.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).

  • Track sales activities, client conversations, contracts, and renewals with precision.

  • Deliver regular performance reports to leadership, providing insights on wins, challenges, and actionable next steps.

  • Continuously refine and optimize the sponsorship sales process using data and insights.

Qualifications:

Experience & Expertise:

  • Minimum 4+ years of PAID sponsorship sales experience (digital + event sponsorships) — agency or event/media company experience preferred.

  • Proven success in managing and closing high-value partnerships ($ 3 M+ annually), including six- and seven-figure deals.

  • Deep, established network of brand contacts across industries such as Tech, Finance, CPG, Retail, Beauty, Sports, Media, and Entertainment.

  • Expertise in crafting strategic, client-centric proposals that deliver measurable ROI and renew year-over-year.

  • Strong understanding of event sponsorship models, branded content, experiential marketing, and partnership sales.

  • Mastery of CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot), sales forecasting, and data-driven sales management.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end email process—from ideation to execution to performance analysis—for weekly newsletters, promotions, event announcements, and more.

  • Create and manage segmented campaigns tailored to diverse audience personas to maximize engagement and conversion.

  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, CTAs, layout, and messaging to improve open and click-through rates.

  • Maintain email health through list hygiene, spam compliance, and deliverability best practices.

Content & Copywriting

  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for emails, social captions, CTAs, and promotional content that resonates with ambitious women in business.

  • Tailor content for various channels while maintaining the voice, tone, and messaging consistency across all platforms.

  • Craft attention-grabbing subject lines, preview text, and headlines that drive performance.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track KPIs across both email and social (open rates, CTRs, saves, shares, conversions, follower growth).

You’ll be a trusted right hand to the CEO and a go-to team resource for event planning, content logistics, calendar management, communications, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support

  • Manage the CEO’s complex and evolving calendar, including scheduling meetings, booking travel, coordinating appointments, and ensuring daily time optimization.

  • Serve as the gatekeeper and liaison for all inbound requests, prioritizing messages and correspondence across email, Slack, and social platforms.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, briefing docs, and post-meeting recaps; follow up on outstanding action items with internal and external stakeholders.

Creative Design Producer, Experiential & Digital

Create & Cultivate is seeking a Creative Design Producer, Experiential & Digital to lead the execution of all creative production elements across branded events, sponsor activations, and digital assets. This hybrid role requires expertise in 3D design, environmental graphics, and on-site event production. The candidate will be responsible for developing visual concepts, producing detailed renderings and production files, managing vendor relationships, overseeing fabrication, and leading all on-site creative execution including booth builds, stage setups, and signage installs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in experiential design and event production, is proficient in renderings and technical drawings, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Production & Environmental Design

  • Own the creative execution of sponsor activations and C&C-branded spaces from concept through on-site install.

  • Produce 2D sketches, moodboards, 3D renderings, and visual mockups for everything from booths and lounges to stages, signage, and photo moments.

  • Translate creative direction into floor plans, fabrication specs, large-format print files, and production-ready assets.

  • Manage creative vendor relationships including fabrication, printing, signage, build-outs, and decor.

  • Oversee the visual quality and consistency of on-site event design across all brand touchpoints and sponsorship activations.

On-Site Event Production & Management

  • Lead on-site creative production for all events—from load-in through strike—including stage setups, sponsor booth installs, directional signage, and all physical touchpoints.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for all creative vendors, ensuring timelines, specs, and budgets are adhered to.

  • Coordinate with sponsors and brand partners to bring their activation concepts to life within event guidelines and specs.

  • Own and execute the run of show (ROS) as it relates to design/production install and strike windows.

Vendor Sourcing & Budget Management

  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships including AV, florals, fabrication, furniture, tenting, catering, staffing, and rentals.

  • Oversee vendor contracts, COIs, permitting needs, and deliverable timelines.

  • Manage budgets for all creative production line items, ensuring cost-efficiency without sacrificing visual impact.

  • Create and maintain budget trackers, production schedules, and team checklists.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the partnerships team to interpret sponsor creative briefs and design meaningful brand experiences.

  • Work closely with the event production team to ensure seamless integration of creative vision with logistics, guest experience, and sponsor deliverables.

  • Partner with the marketing and content team to align on event branding and promotion across platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of experience in creative event production, experiential design, or hybrid creative/producer roles within the event or brand experience industry.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus for After Effects, Keynote, or Canva.

  • Experience with 3D rendering software like SketchUp, Rhino, or Blender preferred.

  • Strong grasp of environmental design, fabrication specs, print formatting, and signage production.
